Seal the Differential of a Dana 80 Housing for a Steering Axle
When we developed the Dana 80 Spool for 2" x 47 Spline Axle Shafts, we had to find a way to seal the Axle Housing to convert the Dana 80 into a front steering axle. That is when the Dana 80 Housing Seals were developed. These seals keep the gear oil in the housing and work with 4" x .500 wall Axle Tubing and 2" Axle Shafts.
Ensure Oil is Sealed
The Dana 80 Axle Seals has 3 O-Rings on the Outside that seal against the Inner Diameter of 4" x .500 wall Axle Tubing. This make sure that the gear oil stays where it should, at the Axle Housing. The 2 Inner Seals make sure there is a tight seal against the 2" Axle Shafts.
Simple Installation
These Axle Housing Seals easily press into the Axle Tubing near the housing. That is all there is to it.
CNC Machined from 1018 CR Steel
Crane Axle's Dana 80 Axle Seals are CNC machined from 1018 CR steel to ensure a proper and accurate final product. All done in the USA.
