The Wilwood Swing Mount Brake Pedal Assembly (10.0:1) positions two single outlet brake master cylinders outside the firewall, making it ideal for manual brake systems, lightweight race cars, and custom competition chassis.

Built on a lightweight aluminum mount box with a high strength forged aluminum I-Beam pedal arm, this assembly provides exceptional hydraulic leverage, reducing pedal effort while maintaining excellent modulation which is especially useful with smaller bore master cylinders or high grip braking systems.

The integrated balance bar features positive detent stops every full turn, giving the driver tactile feedback and repeatable front-to-rear bias adjustments. It can be locked in place with the included jam nut or paired with an optional remote adjuster cable for quick tuning on track. The non-slip waffle-style pedal pad is laterally adjustable for driver comfort and clearance. This pedal assembly accepts Wilwood vertical mount flange single outlet master cylinders, which are sold separately and selected by bore size and application.

Tech Insight

A 10.0:1 pedal ratio is typically chosen when maximum braking leverage is required—such as lightweight race cars, off-road buggies, or vehicles without power assist. The higher ratio reduces pedal effort while increasing pedal travel, giving drivers finer control at the limit. Wilwood’s forged I-Beam pedal arm resists flex under extreme loads, and the detented balance bar ensures precise, repeatable bias tuning lap after lap.
