The Crane Axle Premium Dana 60 King Pin Spring Eliminator Kit is designed to replace the factory kingpin spring preload system with a more stable and durable preload arrangement for Dana 60 kingpin front axles. By replacing the OEM spring assembly with heavy durometer bushings and new replacement cone bushings, this kit improves steering stability, reduces unwanted movement within the knuckle assembly, and increases long-term durability under heavy steering load.

Factory kingpin springs are commonly known to weaken over time in lifted trucks and off-road vehicles running oversized tires, beadlocks, hydraulic assist steering, and high steer systems. As preload consistency deteriorates, steering slop, vibration, and death wobble can develop. The Crane Axle Premium system addresses these issues by combining rigid preload bushings with replacement cone bushings to restore tighter steering feel and more controlled kingpin preload.
