The RCV Ultimate Dana Big Bell 40 Spline CV Axle Set is the strongest front axle solution available for 2005+ Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Dana 60 applications running a 40-spline aftermarket differential. This system replaces weak OEM U-joint axle shafts with RCV’s Big Bell constant velocity (CV) architecture, derived directly from RCV’s 2.5-ton Rockwell CV platform.
Unlike traditional Dana 60 upgrades, the Big Bell CV outer stub is engineered to interface directly with the large 32-spline Ford Super Duty unit bearing, eliminating lockouts or drive flanges entirely. Fewer components mean greater strength, improved reliability, and smoother power delivery under extreme load.
RCV Big Bell CVs maintain full strength at extreme steering angles, eliminate U-joint binding, and dramatically reduce drivetrain shock. This makes them ideal for heavy trail rigs, competition crawlers, and high horsepower diesel builds.
