The Yukon Chromoly Rear Axle Kit is a heavy-duty upgrade for Jeep JK non-Rubicon Dana 44 rear axles, built to handle larger tires, aggressive trail use, and high-load off-road conditions. 4340 chromoly axle shafts are significantly stronger than standard alloy shafts and are commonly used in off-road and performance applications where axle failure is a concern. Cold rolled splines further improve fatigue resistance by strengthening the grain structure at the spline area rather than cutting material away during machining.

Because this kit ships unassembled, proper installation of the bearing, retainer, and ABS ring is critical. Pressing components on with the correct tooling helps ensure proper axle retention and long-term bearing life.
