The Forged DynaPro 6A (DP6A) Lug Mount Caliper is Wilwood’s strongest and most advanced DynaPro 6-piston caliper to date. Designed to merge pure-bred racing technology with contemporary styling, the DP6A delivers superior braking performance for custom, show, and competition vehicles.

This newest DynaPro model features a reinforced triple-bridge forged aluminum body secured with five high-strength steel bridge bolts, dramatically increasing stiffness and resistance to caliper flex under extreme braking loads. A six-piston differential bore design with stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals ensures balanced pad loading, consistent pedal feel, and excellent heat control.

The DP6A is a direct interchange for all 5.25 lug-mount DynaPro and Dynalite calipers, making it an ideal upgrade without requiring changes to existing brackets or mounting geometry.

Tech Insight

The DP6A’s forged aluminum construction and triple-bridge design significantly reduce caliper deflection compared to earlier DynaPro models. Increased rigidity improves pedal feel, braking consistency, and pad wear—especially in high-heat, high-load environments such as rock crawling, desert racing, road racing, and aggressive street applications. Its direct interchange design makes it a simple yet meaningful performance upgrade for existing Wilwood lug-mount systems.
