The Magnum Knuckle Light Weight Brake Kit is engineered for serious off-road performance. Designed to work with any knuckle using a 2.5 Ton Spindle and Ouverson Super 8 Wheel Hub, this kit uses 14" slip-on rotors for increased braking leverage and features Wilwood 4-piston calipers for maximum clamping pressure. This setup saves significant weight versus OE iron rotors and dramatically improves ride quality and braking capability.
Less Unsprung Weight
This kit removes 36.5 lbs compared to a 3/4-ton brake conversion. Lower unsprung weight improves suspension response and overall ride quality.
Upgraded 4-Piston Calipers
Wilwood’s 4-piston calipers apply hydraulic force evenly from both sides of the rotor, delivering stronger, more consistent braking. Once the pedal is pressed, all four pistons drive the pads into the rotor, maximizing friction and stopping power.
Bolt-On Installation
The caliper brackets are precision laser-cut from high-strength plate steel for consistency and durability. Designed as bolt-on brackets, installation is straightforward with no custom fabrication required.
