This Yukon heavy-duty nodular iron differential cover is designed to reinforce and protect Dana 50, Dana 60, and Dana 70 axle housings from impacts, housing flex, and severe drivetrain loads commonly encountered in towing, rock crawling, racing, and hard off-road use. Constructed from thick-wall nodular iron, this cover improves housing rigidity while protecting ring and pinion gears, lockers, bearings, and carrier assemblies from damage.

Internal oil-flow shaping helps improve lubrication circulation and cooling, while the powder coat finish and stainless hardware provide long-term durability and corrosion resistance. Compatible with standard and reverse rotation applications across many Dana 50, Dana 60, and Dana 70 axle platforms.

Tech Insight

Dana 60 and Dana 70 axles are among the most common upgrades for heavy-duty off-road and towing applications because of their larger ring gears, stronger axle shafts, and high load capacity. However, factory stamped differential covers remain vulnerable to impacts and housing flex under severe use.

A heavy nodular iron differential cover helps reinforce the housing while protecting the ring and pinion assembly from trail damage and hard impacts. Increased rigidity can also help maintain more stable gear alignment under high torque loads, oversized tires, locking differentials, and aggressive off-road driving conditions.

Because this cover extends farther outward than many factory covers, steering linkage and suspension clearance should always be checked on front axle applications before installation.
