This Yukon Diff Cover designed specifically for the Jeep JL 186mm Dana 30 front axle using the factory 12-bolt cover pattern is commonly found in non-Rubicon Wrangler models and is frequently upgraded for larger tires, trail use, overlanding, and moderate off-road driving.

Constructed from thick-wall nodular iron, this cover helps improve housing rigidity while protecting gears, lockers, bearings, and carrier assemblies during demanding off-road use. Internal oil-flow shaping helps improve lubrication circulation and cooling, while the powder coat finish and stainless hardware provide long-term durability and corrosion resistance.

Included Items:

  • JL Dana 30 (186mm) nodular iron differential cover
  • Stainless steel cover bolts
  • Stainless accent plate

Tech Insight

The Jeep JL Dana 30 front axle uses a compact 186mm differential that performs well for daily driving and moderate off-road use, but the factory stamped cover remains vulnerable to rock impacts and housing distortion when larger tires, lockers, or aggressive trail driving are introduced.

A heavy nodular iron cover helps reinforce the axle housing while protecting the ring and pinion assembly from impacts that can crack or deform factory covers. This added rigidity becomes increasingly important on lifted JL builds running oversized tires and lower gear ratios.
