Give your classic Ford truck the axle strength it always needed. The RCV Performance Ultimate Dana 44 CV Axle Set replaces the factory U-joint shafts in your Ford F-250 or F-150 SuperCab with a high strength constant velocity design proven to be twice as strong as OEM.
Unlike U-joints, which weaken significantly when steering angle increases, RCV CV joints maintain full strength at all angles. This provides a smoother, more reliable transfer of power to the ground. No binding, no vibration, and drastically reduced risk of axle failure when running larger tires or added horsepower.
These axles are ideal for restored trucks, heavy duty trail rigs, or classic builds running V8 power, lockers, or oversized tires.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All CVJ44OS axle kits require a 30 spline hub gear upgrade. RCV hub gears are compatible with Warn 20990 Premium Lockouts.

Tech Insight
The original Ford Dana 44 front axle uses a 19 spline outer shaft and U-joint configuration—both are limiting factors when pushing power, running big tires, or adding lockers. The RCV Ultimate CV Axle upgrades the outer shafts to 30 spline while eliminating the weak U-joint entirely.
