RCV 30-Spline Dana 44 CV Axle Set for Jeep Wagoneer ('74-'79)
SKU: CVJ44OS-WAG1
Give your classic Jeep Wagoneer the strength it deserves. The RCV Performance Ultimate Dana 44 CV Axle Set replaces the weak factory U-joint axle shafts with a high strength constant velocity design proven to be twice as strong as OEM Wagoneer shafts. Unlike U-joints, which lose strength and bind at steering angle, RCV CV joints maintain full strength and smooth rotation whether driving straight or turned full lock.
This upgrade eliminates U-joint binding, improves traction, increases durability, and provides a smoother driving feel both on-road and off-road. Even with big tires, V8 power, or lifted suspension, these axles are built to handle it all with minimal maintenance.

Tech Insight
The original Wagoneer Dana 44 shafts are limited by their 19 spline outer configuration and U-joint design. RCV eliminates both weaknesses by upgrading to a 30 spline constant velocity joint, providing enhanced torque capacity and smoother articulation.
This setup is ideal for vintage Jeep builds running: • Larger tires • Upgraded engines • Lockers • Off-road suspension systems
The CV design allows full steering angle without the sudden strength loss or binding common with U-joints while delivering massive gains in reliability and trail performance.
