Unlike automatic lockers, the ARB Air Locker remains completely open during normal driving, eliminating unwanted driveline wear, noise, or handling issues. When activated, the pneumatically operated locking system prevents the internal differential gears from rotating independently, tying both wheels directly to the ring gear for maximum control and forward motion.

Built to withstand the harshest environments on earth, this Air Locker features ARB’s steel-reinforced bonded annular seal, forged internal components, and a fully machined one-piece nodular iron differential case designed to handle extreme torque loads and long-term abuse.
