Built for 2.5 ton Rockwell axle setups, this 16-spline Grizzly Locker sending 100% of available torque to both axle shafts under load. It’s a major upgrade over open differentials, giving you the traction needed to stay moving in the most aggressive terrain- whether you're running a rock bouncer, mud truck, or hardcore trail rig.

The larger internal engagement teeth and improved gear geometry help it handle shock loads from big tires, high horsepower, and harsh terrain. It automatically unlocks during turns for improved maneuverability while maintaining full traction when power is applied.

Tech Insight

Rockwell axles are known for their extreme strength, but open differentials can limit traction in demanding off-road conditions. A mechanical locker like the Grizzly ensures both wheels receive equal torque, dramatically improving performance in rocks, mud, and steep terrain.

Proper installation is critical—especially the removal of factory thrust washers. Leaving them in place will affect internal clearances and can lead to malfunction or damage. Always verify setup and clearances during installation for best performance and longevity.
