Tech Insight

Upgrading from drum to disc brakes on a 14-bolt axle completely changes braking performance—especially under high heat, heavy loads, or off-road abuse. Disc brakes cool much faster, resist fade, and maintain consistent pad-to-rotor contact throughout pad life. Removing the bulky drum assemblies also reduces unsprung weight, improving suspension response and shock performance. The laser-cut 3/8 brackets provide excellent caliper alignment and repeatable installation accuracy.
