The Wide Open Design Short Lower Shock Tab provides a compact, heavy-duty mounting solution for shocks, limit straps, and other suspension components where space is limited. Designed for flat-surface mounting, these laser-cut tabs are ideal for axle housings, chassis rails, suspension brackets, and custom fabrication projects where a shorter mounting height is preferred.
Manufactured from 1/4" high-strength plate steel, each tab is precision laser cut for consistent dimensions, accurate hole placement, and weld-ready installation. The compact design also makes these tabs an excellent choice for mounting limit straps, providing more surface area and strength than traditional small mounting tabs. These are the same fabrication tabs trusted in Wide Open Design's in-house chassis builds.

Unlike small generic tabs, the larger weld area provides greater strength when mounting limit straps that repeatedly absorb suspension loads. This makes the tab a popular choice for both shock and limit strap installations.
