Tech Insight
Tapered roller bearings are preferred in heavy-duty axle applications because they support both radial and axial loads far more effectively than conventional ball bearings. This increased load capacity improves axle stability under towing, rock crawling, racing, and other high-stress driving conditions while reducing bearing wear.
